First Time ConcertgoersIf this is your first time attending an orchestra concert, prepare to have a fun and relaxed time! Our concerts are informal and family friendly. With the exception of the annual fundraiser, concerts are free. Pete Nowlen, our conductor, introduces the music by telling short and interesting little known stories about the pieces. During the intermission, refreshments are served and you and your children have the chance to talk to the musicians. We perform at several different types of venues, from the Performing Arts Theater in Rancho Cordova, River City Christian Church, to the food court of Koreana Plaza.
