Cookies

The symphonydoro.org site may use "cookies" in order to deliver web content specific to individual users' interests or to ensure donation transactions are accurately fulfilled with our payment service. Our web servers may passively or automatically track usage information from these visits, such as information provided by your device or browser, but on an entirely anonymous basis. This usage information is general data about how visitors use our Site, which pages are most frequently visited, which web sites most frequently refer visitors to our Site, and how long patrons spend on our Site.

While we may collect your usage by logging your IP address, we do not associate this information with you as an individual. Nor do we otherwise monitor this information on an individual basis. Instead, we aggregate this usage information and use it to monitor broad usage trends, to evaluate the effectiveness of the Site's design and improve its overall usability.

Webforms

Symphonydoro.org includes forms on the site that users may choose to use. These include:

  • An email list form where users provide basic contact information (email address, name) in order to receive periodic emails about symphony activities. Users who later unsubscribe from the symphony's email list (either using the unsubscribe link provided in each email or by sending an unsubscribe request via the Contact Us form or the symphonydoro@gmail.com email address) may have their basic contact information retained for up to 3 years after they unsubscribe.
  • Periodic forms are posted where users provide their email and name so they receive a single email reminder shortly before a specific concert/event.
  • A donation form where users provide contact information (name, email, address), and are then routed to our payment services provider (Affinipay) to securely provide credit card information.
  • A "Contact Us" form where users provide basic contact information (email, name, phone number) along with a brief description of their inquiry.

All information collected from these forms is used only for the purpose for which it was collected and will not be given or sold to another party.

Use of collected information:

  • Symphonydoro.org will only use personal information collected from this site for the purpose of communication back to individuals who contact us via the site.
  • Symphonydoro.org uses browser-IP-address information and anonymous-browser history to report information about site accesses and for profiling purposes. This information is used to improve Web presentation and utilization. IP address information may also be used for troubleshooting purposes.

This applies both to donor information that is collected or received online through our Site or donor information received through offline contributions. We will also not send mailings to donors on behalf of other organizations. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
