Interested in joining the Symphony?

Symphony d'Oro is actively recruiting for string players for our upcoming season

Symphony d'Oro is composed of volunteer musicians who enjoy the opportunity to serve the community while continuing their musical development through participation in a full-size symphony orchestra. Now in its tenth season, the Symphony is sponsored by the City of Rancho Cordova as well as many private sponsors and donations.

The Symphony welcomes both new and continuing musicians of intermediate or advanced abilities. After you contact us, and assuming we have openings for your instrument, prospective members will likely be asked to play in several rehearsals on a trial basis for a concert set as an "informal audition," providing you with an introduction to the group, as well as an opportunity for the section leader and our conductor, Pete Nowlen, to evaluate your abilities.

The Symphony rehearses most Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:45 from late August through May.  Rehearsals are normally held at the Mandarins Music Center near US-50 and Bradshaw Road.

If you are interested in joining Symphony d'Oro, or just want more information, please send an email telling us what instrument you play and your music training/experience.
