Living Sounds Wind Quintet Concert

The Living Sounds Wind Quintet, formed in 2013, unites the musical talents of our own Symphony d'Oro flautist and harpist Bill Damian and his colleagues hornist Stephen Bingen, oboist Trey Makler, bassoonist and composer Daniel Webster, and clarinetist and composer Laurie San Martin. The concert includes some amazing pieces written specifically for the woodwind quintet, including Franz Danzi’s Quintet in B-flat Major, Jacque Ibert’s Trois Pieces Breves and Malcolm Arnold’s Three Shanties, as well as some familiar tunes ranging from Georges Bizet’s Opera “Carmen” to some marches by John Phillip Sousa. Come and enjoy a program that will take you on a musical journey over years and styles of music.
