The Symphony is so appreciative of the large crowd of Symphony supporters who came to the March 25, 2023 Remember When? concert, our salute to the movies and annual fundraiser concert that was held at Rancho Cordova City Hall. The Symphony serenaded the audience with popular movie music. And the highlight of the evening was a showing of Buster Keaton's One Week with a live performance by the Symphony of an original orchestral score by acclaimed silent film composer Andrew Earle Simpson. 

The legendary Countess Katya Smirnoff-Skyy was the evening's emcee, and brought her charm, musical talents, and humor to the concert. The evening opened with Symphony pianist Carlos McMillan Fuentes performing an original piano score by Andrew Earle Simpson during a showing of the short silent film Voyage to the Moon. 

The audience and orchestra enjoyed a shared evening of movie music and magic!
