Master clarinetist and retired professor Deborah Pittman's provided an informative and unique Zoom presentation featuring primarily unknown composers of African descent on June 12, 2021. This socially relevant and long overdue acknowledgment of the creativity, talent and skill of African composers introduced a treasure trove of beautiful music from the time of Mozart to the present. The Symphony's own Carlos McMillan Fuentes was also featured on the piano. You will come away with a variety of fresh music perfect for summer listening!
The video recording of this presentation is available through the end of August 2021.
